I created the animal project - imagining that I would draw a new animal every single day for an undetermined amount of time. I was not able to keep it up for too long, so I shortly abandoned the project after even lowering the bar further to say I would just draw a small sketch of an animal each day.

I started up again with just birds, hoping a more specific guideline would really turn things around for me. It didn’t, and a whole new animal each day was both too much work and no longer what I wanted to do. I imagine I’ll still add birds and other animals to my collection over time, but for now, these are the honorable mentions (out of possibly hundreds in my personal files).
